i was watching cnn yesterday, and i chanced upon this photo journalist who showed his pictures in iraq. these pictures captured the emotions that the iraqis felt. sadness, helplessness, anger towards saddam hussein.
the photographer said that one of the iraqis living in a village that he visited was shot because he got caught in the middle of a crossfire. he died. so the photographer took pictures of the young man's funeral. he heard the men in the funeral cursing saddam, while the women wept.
filipinos have managed to overthrow a dictator, and a corrupt president. the iraqi people could not get rid of their leader. i remember watching a documentary on mtv, and some iraqis were interviewed. they were asked what they want to say to bush. they said why does he want to hurt the iraqi people, when it's the iraqi leaders who are the bad guys. if they know their leaders are bad, why didn't they try to get rid of them? or is it too late? then why didn't they get rid of them before? saddam has been a dictator for quite too long, and now look what's happening to their country.
pro-war americans keep chanting "free iraq!" why do the iraqis need the americans' help anyway? because they can't stop the americans. and why do the americans want to help anyway? because bush believes getting rid of saddam is preventing another 9/11.
i still stand by my statement: i will never support anything that causes death. edsa I and edsa II didn't cause death.
i am proud to be a filipino.

last night, local airing of scheduled programs were halted because bush wanted to address the nation, and the rest of the world (the last time he did that was on a thurs night - the time of Friends & Survivor *gasp*). fortunately for me i don't have anything to watch during primetime mondays. unfortunately for me & the rest of the world, the US president said something that we were all dreading. saddam hussein and his sons have 48 hrs to leave iraq or the US military will attack their country. of course mr. saddam, as we know, is a man full of pride and he will not give in to the orders of his enemy.
thanks to The LaSallian, i am used to looking at both sides' point-of-view, and analyzing the situation in an objective manner. on bush's part, i believe that he trusts his men's findings on the hidden weapons in iraq, and that he thinks there are hard evidences that saddam is a supporter of osama bin laden. he decided to attack iraq instead of waiting for saddam's and/or osama's men to attack the US with the "secret weapons." he doesn't want another 9/11.
if i wasn't raised by a strong Christian family, i would be pro-war because i'd also not want another 9/11 (seeing that i live near the White House *shiver*). but war is wrong, and will not do any good for the loser and even the winner. even if the US will win, the country will suffer economically. bush even estimated that the country will lose $9B if that were to happen. i do not agree with bush that war is the only thing left to do with iraq. pssh. if you are a discerning individual, you would not even think of that. i don't know what kind of actions bush tried to do with their saddam problem before deciding on attacking iraq but, i'm pretty sure there's also some male ego going on there.
so to conclude, i understand why bush would decide on attacking iraq. but maybe if he'd stop claiming to be so Christian (refer to the Newsweek article "Bush and God") and maybe discern about this, he'd realize that war is not the answer, and that there are still some peaceful ways to settle this.

took a test at alloy.com and got this result:
Paul Walker From his popular jock roles in She's All That and Varsity Blues, to his recent forays into thrillers like The Fast and the Furious and Joy Ride, we know Paul Walker is a man of action. Even in real life, this six foot California cutie is an expert at surfing, snowboarding, skiing, snorkeling, sailing, shooting, and soccer. So, if athletics, adventure, and the great outdoors are right up your alley, you belong in pictures (probably action shots) with Paul!

We have a future, Clark... And I don’t want anything to stand in the way of our friendship.
Metamorphosis
You were tied to a stake in the middle of a field. Even the Romans saved that for special occasions.
Kinda makes you wonder if you're with the right guy. One chucks footballs, the other helps save lives.
Hothead
Dad... You have no idea what I’m capable of.
I’d question your integrity, but you’re a journalist.
You came into my life, thinking you could shake me down 'cause I'm just some spoiled rich brat who needed his daddy's protection. Trust me, when I make things disappear, they stay buried.
Cool
A high school boyfriend isn't a husband, he's an obstacle.
Hourglass
Clark: You might consider rounding those curves at a speed that won't actually break the sound barrier. Lex: Now where's the fun in that?
You see, I don't want to do good things. I want to do great things.
Craving
I think my future’s gonna be brighter than that spoiled, rich brat who walked into that cornfield.
Right. You’re not hiding. You’re getting some air. I spent 18 years of Luthor Christmas parties in the coatroom.
Jitters
Lionel Luthor: Don’t be foolhardy. This is no time for mock-heroics. Lex: You said this is my plant. It’s my call. Lionel Luthor: (Grabs Lex’s arm) I won’t allow it, Lex. Lex: (Looks at arm) Don’t ever do that again.
Rogue
Keep your friends close and the quarterback closer.
Shimmer
Relationships aren’t always about love, Clark. Sometimes they’re about mutual goals. Not every girl is Lana Lang.
Hug
Trust me, Clark. Our friendship is going to be the stuff of legends.
Leech
You call sleeping with me business? I hate to think what that makes you.
Kinetic
Clark, you can’t save the world. All you’ll end up with is a Messiah complex and a lot of enemies.
Stray
You know what those emperors you're so fond of talking about were really afraid of? That their sons would become successful and return to Rome at the head of their own army.
Reaper
Do you know what my father gave me for my tenth birthday? A copy of “The Will to Power.” “Behold the super man. Man is something to be overcome.” Sun Tzu, Machiavelli, Nietzsche. They were the voices that nurtured me after my mother died. My father made every question a quiz, every choice a test. Second best was for losers, compassion for losers, trust no one. Those were the lessons I grew up with.
You know, in ancient Persia, the kings would kill a messenger who brought them news they didn’t like. In modern times, a sword in the chest might seem a little extreme. Something more subtle would be in order. Enjoying your drink?
All I’m saying, Dominic, is try and remember who I was raised by. I try to deny it, but I’m still my father’s son. Tread carefully.
Drone
There’s nothing wrong with a good fight. Just remember, the man of tomorrow is forged by his battles today.
Obscura
Clark: When are you going to be able to put your past behind you? Lex: Take a look at the stars, Clark. Some of them have been extinguished for thousands of years, but their light is only reaching us now. The past is always influencing the present. I can’t change that. All I can do is try to understand it.
Tempest
Lionel Luthor: You're not my enemy. You're my son. Lex: I never saw the distinction.

this week will be a big cramming session for my migration. i didn't expect to leave this early, so now i have to do hundreds of things in less than a week. finish my clearance, get my final pay & deposit it, collect cash receivables, close my bank account & convert all my pesos into dollars, leave money for my incoming bills, burn files & programs from my hard disk, finish packing, order vcds, look for kuya raymund's jologs vcd, buy bday gifts for nico & kuya raymund, pay & claim my northwest ticket, give my phone number away and inform my contacts about this, etc. imagine having to do all these and still go to singapore and make appearances in requested despedidas. just thinking about all of the things i have to do this week is literally giving me a headache. i am seriously going to take tylenol pm right after i watch will & grace. i am so looking forward to saturday, not just bec i will finally see my niece & nephews (ok my brothers & sisters as well), but bec my hectic week has ended.
i know while i'm in singapore my mind will still not rest. first of i will only be there for less than 1.5 days. secondly, i tend to worry a lot about things even though i can't do anything about them. not going to singapore would mean a lot for my sked, but i still want to bec i want to spend time with papa before i leave. i know eventually my parents will move there as well but of course their attention will be more on their apo's (w/c is understandable bec they are more adorable than me, ate, & kuya). so i like to cherish the last moments i have with just papa & mommy. it's too bad the latter could not go with us to singapore. and mommy has to spend the weekend in alpadi for i think a HOLD-related activity, but since i am leaving early saturday morning, she will not spend the first night there, but rather at home. friday is family day for me. it is my last day here and to whom should i spend it with than those closest to me. the people who knew me ever since i was born (or to those younger, ever since i was a kid). in the evening my cousins and i will repeat the despedida we had 2 yrs ago when i left for the US. i hope gino will pay for all of us again (although i doubt that, the last one was just accidental). i am pretty sure that on friday night my account in BPI has been closed and all i got are dollars, no more pesos. oh wait, i can use my credit card. good thinking *pats back*
for thursday i got my high school & college barkadas lined up. i don't know how i will be in 2 places at the same time, and i can't combine the 2 groups bec that would be kind of awkward. well, God will make a way. wednesday is for my household, w/c i can now say will be at GB3 bec i got the approval of my household head this morning with regard to the venue. i also invited 2 of my friends who are not part of the group, w/c is ok bec they know each other.
this headache is giving me grammatical errors and my brain is too tired to correct them. lack of sleep is not good for the brain (can you believe i slept at around 2:30 am? this is what i get for having a good samaritan for a cousin).
so anyway, imagine all those activities, plus the tasks. what joy.
on to more packing...

best picture
Chicago Gangs of New York The Hours The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers The Pianist
WHAT I THINK SHOULD/WANT TO WIN: as a former writer and a present techie, my judgement on films are almost always based on the script and the technical aspects. if i would base my decision on the story, i would go for the hours. if i'd look at the technical stuff, i'd go for lotr: the 2 towers. will history repeat itself? last yr, "story" beat out "technical" when a beautiful mind won best picture over the much expected lotr: the fellowship of the ring. but i doubt that lotr: the 2 towers will win this yr, for the reason that i said in my previous entry. it had a bigger chance last yr when it had 13 nods. this yr, it only got 6. aside from this category, the film only got nominated in the techincal categories. WHAT I THINK WILL WIN: chicago, although having the most nominations doesn't mean getting the big one (look at lotr: the fellowship of the ring and saving private ryan). i've seen chicago and honestly, i don't see what the big deal is. i love musicals, i love broadway, i love how hollywood's starting to embrace musicals. i saw chicago, and although it was nicely edited to give justice to its broadway version, it is not at all deserving to get the best picture honor. but this is coming from the person who almost lost respect for the academy awards when titanic got all those oscars (yes it was a good film technical-wise, but the cheesy script really killed it for me).
best director
Chicago Gangs of New York The Hours The Pianist Talk to Her
WHO I WANT TO WIN: martin scorsese for gangs of new york - no explanation needed. WHO I THINK SHOULD WIN: (same as above) WHO I THINK WILL WIN: (same as above)
best actor
Adrien Brody, The Pianist Nicholas Cage, Adaptation Michael Caine, The Quiet American Daniel Day-Lewis, Gangs of New York Jack Nicholson, About Schmidt
WHO I WANT TO WIN: nicholas cage for adaptation. his role in this film is a far cry from the one in leaving las vegas where he won his first oscar. in adaptation he's funny, he's weird, he's smart... all rolled into one. WHO I THINK SHOULD WIN: (same as above) WHO I THINK WILL WIN: jack nicholson for about schmidt. this is for being the most respected man in hollywood. but enough already! i think he has 4 oscars now.
best actress
Nicole Kidman, The Hours Salma Hayek, Frida Diane Lane, Unfaithful Julianne Moore, Far From Heaven Renee Zellweger, Chicago
WHO I WANT TO WIN: if it's basing on long but entertaining speeches (w/ a few tears maybe, ala halle berry), i'd want renee zellweger or salma hayek to win this. or even nicole kidman. WHO I THINK SHOULD WIN: julianne moore for far from heaven. this lady has received a ton of oscar nominations ever since she started acting in feature films. i think it is high time to give her an oscar, dontcha think? this is one versatile actress whose acting depth reaches high's & low's better than mariah's voice could. WHO I THINK WILL WIN: nicole kidman for the hours. this is for being the darling of hollywood. but diane lane can pull a surprise.
best actor in a supporting role
Chris Cooper, Adaptation Ed Harris, The Hours Paul Newman, The Road to Perdition John C. Reilly, Chicago Christopher Walken, Catch Me if You Can
WHO I WANT TO WIN: paul newman for the road to perdition. i like seeing hollywood legends get oscars after being gone from the movie screen for so long. WHO I THINK WILL WIN: chris cooper for adaptation. oscar might go bald & toothless this yr.
best actress in a supporting role
Kathy Bates, About Schmidt Julianne Moore, The Hours Queen Latifah, Chicago Meryl Streep, Adaptation Catherine Zeta-Jones, Chicago
WHO I WANT TO WIN: how can i forget to place queen latifah in my oscar nominees predictions? she just totally slipped my mind. although i doubt that she'd win this, i've always had a soft spot for new comers, esp black actresses that come from the music industry (i don't know why though. maybe it's the surprised, tearful speeches). i wouldn't mind seeing catherine zeta-jones win this too, but like latifah, i don't think her role is challenging enough. WHO I THINK SHOULD WIN: meryl streep for adaptation. everybody knows she is due for another oscar win (after losing countless of times). WHO I THINK WILL WIN: (same as above)
* * *
surprising stuff
peter jackson not nominated for best director? directing the shots of lotr: the 2 towers is not an easy task, and you have to have the same vision as that of the author & the fans of lotr to make a fine film like lotr. dealing with a big cast and all those effects must be gruelling for mr. jackson. i think this film is more deserving of a "best director" nomination than a "best picture."
i am apalled that harry potter and the chamber of secrets did not get at least one nomination. this is not bec i'm a big fan of the harry potter series, but bec the film deserves to be nominated for the techincal categories (esp art direction) and original score. is the academy trying to punish JK for not releasing the 5th harry potter book on time? this is a conspiracy i tell you...
8 mile didn't get an editing nod, but it did get one for best song. whoa. is the academy finally embracing rap? in fairness, that was the only eminem song that i liked bec it was something positive (for a change). hey if they gave eminem a chance, why not DMB huh? why wasn't where are you going nominated? :P
i am surprised that a lot of people are surprised that richard gere didn't get nominated. there was really nothing special about his performance. the hardest thing he ever did was tap dance. i think he was right when he said in his speech when he won a golden globe that the only reason he got this award was because he tap-danced.
* * *
just a sharing...
last week i had a dream that i won an oscar. i remember feeling so happy & content that i thought to myself, "this is it, i'm on top, i've already done the best that i can do. there is nothing else i can do better..." and then i woke up (doh!)

spiderman catch me if you can lotr: the 2 towers
dark horse: 8 mile
best make-up
star wars ep 2: attack of the clones lotr: the 2 towers harry potter and the chamber of secrets
best costume design
chicago
as much as i liked lotr: the 2 towers, i don't think this film will generate as much nominations as it did last year (13 nods, but didn't win best picture). the first one always gets the spark, the 2nd one, though it may be better in my opinion, can only hold on to the remaining luster of its predecessor. that is hollywood, and that is oscar. but who knows, maybe i'm wrong (hopefully).
8 mile is a film critically acclaimed & very much embraced by hollywood, even though it stars eminem (who a lot of stars look down on). i won't be surprised if it gets at least one nomination.
i could be wrong with my predictions since i have yet to watch some of the movies mentioned. once the nominees are announced, i will be back to post who i think will win, and who i think should win. ah, my favorite time of the year (next to Christmas, that is).
the oscars will be hosted by steve martin on march 23rd, 8pm ET

digicam
if you read my Stephen spoke to me! entry, you'd know that i need a new digicam. besides the fact that the pics almost always get red eyes, i find my current digicam too bulky. plus, i don't like using alkaline batteries anymore. i want one that uses rechargeable batteries.
after doing some extensive research, i have narrowed down the list of "perfect digicams for me" to 2...

both have the same price (source: bestbuy.com). canon seems to have a bit more features than sony, but the latter is smaller and lighter. now i should determine which is more important for me, features or size?
and the plot thickens...
matchmaker, matchmaker, find me a match
i went to The WB website and found this valentine's day quiz, Which WB-guy is your perfect Valentine? the choices are Angel of Angel, Pacey of Dawson's Creek, Clark of Smallville, and Lex of Smallville.
surprise, surprise... i got a match w/ this guy Your Valentine match is: Lex How much? BARELY The type you are drawn to gives new meaning to the term edgy. Here's how to handle him come Valentine's Day... Rule #1: If you bring him home to meet the parents he might take over their business. Rule #2: If you start to have deep feelings for a guy like this, proceed with extreme caution. Rule #3: Keep your eyes open. There's no question your kind of guy has stellar taste and knows how to wine and dine but, in the end, there's only one thing on his mind and that's himself.
the sound of smallville
speaking of smallville, i got the track listings of its soundtrack (to be released Feb. 25):
1. Save Me - Remy Zero 2. Inside Out - VonRay 3. Island In The Sun - Weezer 4. Superman - Five For Fighting 5. Nuclear - Ryan Adams 6. Lonely Day - Phantom Planet 7. Fight Test - The Flaming Lips 8. Don't Dream It's Over - Sixpence None The Richer 9. Wave Goodbye - Steadman 10. I Just Wanna Be Loved - AM Radio 11. Everything - Lifehouse 12. Time After Time - Eva Cassidy
looks good... except that i don't like track 4.

i just took a break from my smallville marathon. what can i say, i love this show.
i was never a superman fan. lois & clark never really clicked on my part, even the superman movies. so when studio 23 started promoting smallville, i didn't really care. i only started watching it the week after its premiere. my boss told me that clark kent's cute, so i checked it out. then i started to watch it weekly (every tues, 9pm) because i was beginning to like its plots, including the love story of clark & lana, even though i know they will not end up with each other.
can i just say that i have a crush on lex luthor and i don't know why? maybe it's because i have a thing with guys wearing business attires. or that lex looks like a bad guy but he really has a good heart. he uses his power to help his friends and always tries to do the right thing. and take a look at his stare here...
it's like he can read minds or something. i saw the nicodemus episode of smallville just now (most probably to be shown this tues, feb 11, at studio 23), there were 2 scenes that showed lex talking on his cellphone. guess what his phone was?
yes, just like mine! now i feel like a millionaire like lex, hehe. anyway, watch out for that episode. that was the ep that i had the most laughs so far.
tom welling (clark kent) is good-looking too, except that i don't like his hair. but when i watched the teen choice awards, where he won best breakthrough performance - male (kristin kreuk/lana lang was nominated for the female part but lost to kelly osbourne, and the show got nominated for best new show but lost to the osbournes), he looked really cute there! his hair was shorter kasi.
ang cute nila no? too bad tom's married na. speaking of teen choice, michael looked like a shades model in this pic...

another guy worth mentioning is eric johnson, who played whitney fordman in season 1 (lana's boyfriend). the early episodes of season had whitney with this boyband hairdo (with the long bangs) so he'd look like just another pretty boy-jock, easy to hate. however somewhere in the middle of the season, he had his hair cut and he looked like a respectable student of smallville high who works at a department store after school, and has somewhat become a "friend" of clark.
before
 after
ang pogi! and he's only a few months younger than me, hehe. small trivia about eric: he played the teen Tristan in Legends of the Fall. he's a young brad pitt pala eh!
anyhoo, i'm gonna continue my smallville marathon. i am 5 episodes away from season 2!

first of all, I AM NOT A FANATIC. what if you're unemployed for a few weeks now and you're sick of watching the same boring programs at home and want to go out, and you learn that (1) a foreign band that you like is going to be at this nice mall and (2) your friend who's always working (hehe) doesn't have work at that day... what would you do? i rest my case :P
do m_a_y_f_i_e_l_d and i sound defensive? hmm...
anyway, moving on...

speaking of stephen, i was looking at the ticket that i had signed and i noticed that blake the bassist wrote not only his name but also Prov. 3:5 there. so i checked my bible and here's what i got...
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your own intelligence rely not
i remember i posted here last december (i think) about getting a sign that i should trust God with regard to my future in the US or wherever and that i should not do what i want to do just bec i want to.
now i have a soft spot for blake the bassist.
* * *
last night i had a dream. i was playing with my nephew nathan and was having such a great time bec he was so obedient and charming and funny. the last time i was in the US, we couldn't get along. he would cry and i couldn't get him to stop.
then when i woke up and checked my email, i saw one with the subject "desperate request" from my ate. it seems that she might get this job although she's afraid that if she'll wait for her sister-in-law mia to arrive in the US (she's the one who will take care of cathy & nathan while ate's working) the company might not take her. so she asked me if i could take care of the 2 until mia arrives. she told me that cathy & nathan are better than they were when i was there last yr.
 ate & nathan
so maybe my dream was God's way of assuring me that nathan is a good boy now. anyway, i wouldn't let my sister down if she's asking for help bec she never let me down, so of course i agreed. i even asked her if she needs me there earlier than my planned arrival so that she can start working already. i can cancel my singapore trip and go to the US right after the SFC ILC. i only want to go to the singapore zoo anyway, i'm sure there's a tiger in the maryland or DC zoo. i'm so bored and i keep getting dreams of my pamangkins that i want to go now.
* * *
signs, signs, signs... they may be in a form of a dream, a saying, an event, a person, etc. i am more prone to signs now than before. i don't know why though. maybe my eye or my mind or my heart is more open than in the past. kol...

Innocent you are. Always ready to give people the benifit of the doubt, and not looking for a dark meaning, you're the type of person which makes people feel good. If ever a friend is in need, you're there for them.

i miss this song. this reminds me of the time kuya would call me and we'd jam inside his room. he'd play the guitar while i'd play the bass. he thought me how to play the bass. i miss my brother and sister, especially when they were still living here with no families of their own.

fpj
i'd bet my final pay that he will run for president. before, fpj and his wife would say that he's not running. in a recent interview with erap, the former president said fpj is contemplating on whether or not to run. come on, make up your mind! oh wait a minute, you HAVE made up your mind, you're just not telling us directly. nice of you to show up at the actors' rally yesterday by the way. a ton of people angry at GMA's gov't, and you show up to show your support to them. wow, how subtle...
jules ledesma
bading. my tito, who is from bacolod, was told by a very prominent family in negros that jules wanted to run in 2004 but he was not popular enough. so he was instructed by his people to get an actress for a wife. the first choice? don't laugh (or puke)... jolina magdangal. but since it is very unlikely that jolina will get married so suddenly, he courted ara mina. of course we all know that he was turned down. so he went for ara's friend, assunta. now he is more famous than ever. bading.
stephen speaks
i navigated stephenspeaks.com and read the bios of the members. ripp, the one who sends emails to the fans, loves dmb and john mayer. he also co-wrote passenger seat. he was the back-up vocals in the song, w/c kaye & i thought sounded better than the lead. ok so maybe he's not that cute, but he wrote passenger seat, he has a nice voice, and he has great taste in music! well he's not yet a crush, we'll see in feb. 5.
incubus
ever since i saw the wish you were here video, i had a little crush on their drummer jose. then last sunday i borrowed from kaye her morning view sessions dvd. i saw how kenkoy the band members were, especially jose, when the home videos were shown. grabe crush ko na talaga. although i wish he wouldn't shave his head, hindi bagay.
fpj as president
i recommend everyone to migrate to another country. i seriously see no future at all for this country if this is the case. none at all. might as well cease to exist.
ping lacson as president
oh my gulay.

this must be what unemployed feels like. the last time i felt like this, it was 2 yrs ago when i just finished my last term in DLSU and i was taking my time to be a bum before i leave for the US (little did i know that i would get hospitalized a week after edsa dos). i don't know what to do around here, i don't want to go out because i have no source of income anymore. i want to go to powerbooks and read but i don't want to spend P10 on parking. boooooring...
who am i kidding, i am loving my new found freedom! i bought prepaid internet cards yesterday and i'm downloading mp3's while typing on my lj. i get to sleep after lunch, which is what i plan to do everyday so that i can get fat. well not fat but proportioned to my build. and i can now eat decent lunch, whereas in the office we were stuck with canteen food. yuck. ever since 2003 started, we ate lunch most of the time at the new SM in bicutan. i want to go to the gym on a regular basis since i got all the time in the world, but because i have a financial problem right now, maybe i'll just take a walk around the park.
i got nothing to do, but it's ok because at least i don't have problems anymore. ok so maybe i'm still worrying about MYOB even though i'm not part of the company anymore. so i did go to the office yesterday and this morning just to make sure that mark knows what to do with MYOB. but other than that, i'm fine, i'm more relaxed. look at me, downloading mp3's...

i come back to the office from my leave and this is what i get. there's a virus spreading again that we got from the email. something about avril lavigne. now, the computers who got that virus are all processing REALLY SLOW, including the CEO's PC. and my co-workers in the deprtment didn't even think of researching about the virus and downloading a removal tool. this happened on friday and they waited for me to come back to fix it. so what will happen next week when i'm gone? they should stop depending on me.
anyway, while downloading the removal tool, i decided to take a break from the virus hoopla and listen to the out of my league mp3 that gino downloaded:
It's her hair and her eyes today That just simply take me away And the feeling that I'm falling further in love Makes me shiver, but in a good way All the times I have sat and stared As she thoughtfully thumbed through her hair And she purses her lips, bats her eyes and she plays with me sitting there slackjawed with nothing to say
Cuz I love her with all that I am And my voice shakes along with my hands Cuz she's all that I see and she's all that I need And I'm out of my league once again
It's a masterful melody When she calls out my name to me As the world spins around, as she laughs, rolls her eyes And I feel like I'm falling, but it's no surprise
Cuz I love her with all that I am And my voice shakes along with my hands Cuz it's frightening to be swimming in this strange sea But I'd rather be here than on land Yeah, she's all that I see and she's all that I need And I'm out of my league once again
